Who Are We?

The Marble Falls Kiwanis Club represents:

  • A variety of local area business men and women;

  • Local Retirees;

  • Individuals interested in the goals of Kiwanis International.


How Many Kiwanis Clubs & Members Are There?

There are more than 8,600 Kiwanis clubs with nearly 300,000 members in 96 nations and geographic areas. Kiwanis International sponsors several service clubs for young people:

  • Circle K International has 11,000 members on 570 university and college campuses.

  • Key Club International has 215,000 members in 4,600 high schools.

  • Builders Clubs have been organized in 2,000 junior high and middle schools.

  • Other members of the Kiwanis family include K-Kids in elementary schools, young European adults in Kiwanis Junior and Aktion Club, which involves persons with disabilities in community-service activities.


 

What Do We Do? 

We meet weekly to plan, share fellowship, learn about our community through guest presentations and support numerous community needs. These include:

 

Boys & Girls Club financial and service support.

 

Habitat for Humanity financial and volunteer. support.      

Fundraising events such as: U.S. Flag posting along major highways during national holidays, spaghetti dinners, bicycle rallies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Service to the community.

 

What Are The Objectives of Kiwanis?

  • To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.

  • To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.

  • To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business and professional standards.

  • To develop by precept and example a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship.

  • To provide through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service and to build better communities.

  • To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase in righteousness, justice, patriotism and goodwill.


 

 

 

Funding for the Marble Falls Library Children’s Reading Room.

Financial support for the Helping Center, Christmas For Children, the Crisis Center, Little Dribblers junior basketball team, Casa and Burnet County 4-H.

Provide over $7,500 annually for high school senior scholarships.
